This guitar is an excellent shape for its vintage. The sound of 45 year old tonewood is unique. The tone ofthis guitar is beautiful: complex and integrated, with an especially sweetlower mid-range. The FG 180 'Red Label' models from this era havethe well-deserved reputation of being the poor man's Martin D-18. Iam the original owner of this beauty, buying it in the summer of 1970 before heading off tocollege. This is a vintage Yamaha FG 180 red label acoustic guitar. It has the original label intact on the inside and is marked as shown. The guitar is in very good used condition with very little wear and no heavy wear.
